Please read this privacy policy before using the site or submitting any personal information. By using the site, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy. These practices may be changed, but any changes will be posted and changes will only apply to activities and information on a going forward, not retroactive basis. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. This may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.

COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

CONTACT FORMS

By default, WordPress does not include a contact form.

We currently use a third-party plugin called Gravity Forms. Gravity Forms does not set any cookies on the front-end of the site. It does set a cookie on the entry detail page in the admin when an admin views the entry and checks the show empty fields checkbox, that cookie is named gf_display_empty_fields.

We collect personally identifiable information, like names, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request, generally asking a question or subscribing to our email newsletter. You may opt out of any email marketing communications by using the “unsubscribe” links provided at the bottom of each email communication, or emailing customer service and asking to be removed from the list.

COOKIES AND HOW WE USE THEM

Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites. We use cookies to help identify your computer so we can tailor your user experience, track shopping basket contents and remember where you are in the order process. You can disable any cookies already stored on your computer, but these may stop our website from functioning properly. The following is strictly necessary in the operation of our website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

ANALYTICS

By default WordPress does not collect any analytics data.

Like millions of other website owners, we do use the free Google Analytics software. This software grabs data about our web visitors (you).

What does Google Analytics record?

What website you came from to get here.
How long you stay for.
What kind of computer you’re using.
And quite a bit more.

What do we do with that Google Analytics data?

The tracking information allows us to better understand our visitors and customers who come to the site and what content they’re reading. This allows us to make better decisions about design, products, copy and more.

No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting. Here is a link to Google Analytics Terms of Service.

Want to opt out of tracking?

You can also opt out of Google’s advertising tracking cookie or use a browser plugin to opt out of all Google Analytics tracking software.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We have several Data processors that we use on our website:

AMAZON AWS – handles our website hosting and is hosted in the United States.

STRIPE – payment data is maintained in Stripe who runs the credit card transactions

INFUSIONSOFT – used for CRM purposes and email marketing: https://www.infusionsoft.com/legal/dpa

SHIPSTATION.COM – order data used for shipping label printing and fulfillment

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinitely. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

WHAT RIGHTS YOUR HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
